About JK

I've never really written a "profile page" or anything else about myself, so this should be interesting. I go by the name JK, which I more or less picked up in high school.

We moved around quite a bit when I was growing up, but I'm proud to call Colorado home. After high school I served a four year tour in the military, which allowed me to travel quite a bit. My military training focused on specialized Information Technology fields; I've been out of the military for several years now and have been lucky enough to land some interesting IT positions. I'm currently involved in IT Security.

I've been around for about 10659 days, 2439 of which have been on the East Coast in the DC area. QT and I have been together almost as long as I've been on the East Coast, and things are wonderful.

And I'm a huge fan of Firefox, the highly customizable and robust web browser; here are the Firefox extensions I use at home. In June of 2008 I added Fitness category to JK's Journal, and I have a Traineo.com account and a TweetWhatYouEat.com account that help me track my attempt at getting fit.
